Dude, last night was crazy news! Arthur Melo's contract was terminated by Beşiktaş! 😮 If the transfer had gone through, we could have seen a serious reinforcement in the midfield, which Dunga felt was lacking. So what do you think this termination means? Are we going to see BJK look at other options? Or do you think Arthur might end up at another club? I'm waiting for your opinions! ⚽🔥

We saw the same scenario happen to Arthur in Madrid, bro. He wore the shirt for two seasons, played over 100 games, but always felt like something was missing. The transfer looked great on paper at first, but he never reached that level physically or in terms of football IQ. I think Beşiktaş is likely to end up the same way—they wanted him for squad depth and all, but in the end they can easily sacrifice him for a minor midfield role. In my opinion, BJK will definitely look for another option. Either a Brazilian signing or a direct name from the league. For instance, bringing in someone like Felipe Augusto would make more sense, because he’s done something similar to what Arthur did in the past. Honestly, it’s a bit disappointing—we all hoped he’d make a splash in the Euro League.

Arthur’s case reminds me a lot of Jirès Kembo‑Ekoko, who I dealt with last year in Toulouse. He also never really found his footing with us, couldn’t adapt to the team’s style, and eventually his contract was terminated. Looking at the club’s records now, it seems Arthur has a similar story. At Beşiktaş, his lack of leadership in midfield, his slow entry into the game and his tendency to get caught under pressure were always missing. In my opinion, he doesn’t fit the dynamic player profile that Dunga wants. I’m not surprised by the termination news, since we could see in matches that he never really integrated into the squad. If the BJK hierarchy decided they need a midfielder like him, then it’s normal for them to start looking at other options. For the system after Vincent Aboubakar, they might consider a Burkinabe player, or look at guys in the style of João Paulo. Could Arthur have other adventures? Maybe a move back to his Brazilian side, Juventus, or try his luck in another league. Looking at Ortaköy right now, it’s clear BJK will quickly start searching for a replacement to fill that gap. The termination also stems from Buzzer’s character, and he’s about to take a new step.
