Poku is coming! 🎯 What do Beşiktaş fans think?

I was really looking forward to Poku in this transfer, bro, especially his defensive discipline and his ability to win the ball in midfield. Man, when I think about last season’s Rıdvan, we can’t even count how many goals we conceded from the gaps in Beşiktaş’s midfield. Poku’s 1.83m frame and physical presence could seriously disrupt opponents’ second balls. But of course, Rıza’s insistence on telling him to "push forward" during halftime will be a whole other headache. As for his leadership on the pitch, I’m a bit cautious. Poku’s experience and his performance at Den Haag are clear, but he might struggle to fully adapt to the Süper Lig, especially in high-pressure games with intense referee scrutiny and fan noise. I think if he pairs up well with Oğuzhan Çakır and Gedson Fernandes, they could form a little chain that eases the team’s midfield struggles. Now, let’s talk about his dynamism… If Rıza lets him use his speed and shooting technique, Poku could be a hybrid between a box-to-box midfielder and a defensive midfielder, like a Dele Alli type. His role in pressing from the front while staying deep to support counterattacks reminds me of what Kalafat does in tight spaces. But let’s not forget—TFF First League demands more from every player; talent alone isn’t enough, mentality is a must.
