Guys, last night’s news was really disheartening. Asensio and Kerem Aktürkoğlu’s injuries are serious—could take much longer to heal than we thought 😔 When do you think they’ll be back on the pitch? Are we going to have to tweak our tactics because of this? I’m just as worried as you are—share your thoughts!

Asensio and Kerem's injuries are seriously bad news, bro. Asensio's hip problem is the kind of issue that has left a lot of stars on the bench in recent years, you know. Looking at similar cases in the past, these types of injuries can keep a player out for about 3–6 months, sometimes even longer. Considering how serious the thigh‑muscle damage is for Kerem, it's not hard to guess he'll be away from the pitch at least until the end of March. So we won't see the threats he creates both in attack and in tight spaces early on.
Tactically we’ll have to do a major overhaul, honestly. Asensio was a colonizer, a player who added depth to the opponent's defenses and made a difference with his ball‑turning skill. With him gone and Tekin and Bardakçı stepping in, a more physical approach in midfield will become mandatory. On top of Kerem’s absence, the right flank with Zaha and Nelsson may have to shoulder more responsibility. That could push us from a 4‑2‑3‑1 to a 4‑4‑2, or even try a system that inverts the wings.
But there’s another thing: the squad has a sort of “injury culture” that’s unique to Galatasaray. Remember back in 2012‑13 when Dzeko was out and we talked about “Gökhan’s shadow” and almost won the title under Botteghi and Muslera’s leadership? We could do the same this time, especially with Müldür’s rise in goalkeeping as an advantage. Sure, we’ll drop points, but don’t forget the league’s fate is decided by away games and head‑to‑head matches. Our championship hopes may have dimmed, but they’re not dead yet—let’s say they’re still alive.
