Guys, looking at yesterday's news, it could be a big day for Fenerbahçe! Ismail Kartal said he trusts Asensio in the starting XI and even explained why. 👀 But the real bomb is the Romelu Lukaku situation! Will he play in the Lyon match?
What do you think of Kartal’s choices? Has Asensio’s performance convinced you, or are you worried about Lukaku’s absence? I’m eagerly waiting for your comments! 🔥

Honestly, I think the role Kartal gave Asensio is a bit risky. Look, his performances in La Liga have always been pretty average, and last season his occasional bursts—like those passes he made in the Final Four final—were only marginally effective. I’ve heard Kartal’s “confidence” remarks, but what happens if we slot him straight into the starting eleven and end up leaving the defense exposed in the middle? It feels like shifting into a higher gear too soon.
And Lukaku’s form against Lyon wasn’t great either; I even cracked a smile when they called it a “surprise.” He’s scored just one goal in his last three games, and physically he’s not the same Formaci0 we knew. I think Kartal is being overly optimistic with this equation. If we don’t get a clear payoff from Asensio and Lukaku isn’t in form, the balance on the pitch could tip. Two cheap turnovers could change the whole match. I bet these choices will also make the crowd in Kadıköy think twice.
