Wow, seeing Fenerbahçe eliminate Lyon got me shouting "what a morning?!" with my buddies at Basketpark! I was just working on threes last week, and then the news dropped—I nearly dropped the ball 😂. The French papers' reactions are actually hilarious because we all knew Lyon was weak even with that roster.
As for tactics, I think Oscar and Motley’s defensive discipline plus Calhanoglu’s free-range shooting has really clicked. We’ve seen it in recent matches—when the team’s rhythm is on point, they can explode against any team. I don’t think it’s luck anymore; they’re just perfectly synchronized now. As Galatasaray fans, we’re cheering for these kinds of European runs too, of course—it’s just icing on the cake!
