Honestly, bro, I don’t know exactly how injured Mert is, but we had a similar headache last year. Like when Mandal showed up in a jersey right after his ankle popped out… Then, while the guy couldn’t even run, we kept Mete waiting for like 5–6 months—can you believe that? 😅
We did play without Günok, sure, but the guy adds comfort as much as he gives confidence to the defense. We know Berke is talented, we’ve always tried Cheikh too, but neither of them creates the same pressure, unfortunately. Are they just feeding Campana? Maybe they should actually call up Mignolet for the goal now, even he was good sometimes. 😂 The debate is wide open.
