Romelu Lukaku made his Fenerbahçe debut for the first time! What do you think?

Romelu was physically impressive in his first match yesterday, especially the space he created between the midfield and the attack line. I want him to stay, of course, but he also has to adapt to the team. I think he'll remain a solid option in front of Kartal.

Romelu’s first time wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey really created a buzz in yesterday’s match against Lyon. Dude, everyone already knew Lukaku was one of the most physically dominant players on the team, but from what we saw in yesterday’s game, his movements under the yellow‑navy shirt also gave a serious tactical boost. We saw him stretch the defensive line with long balls to Dzeko and Kalajdžić on quick counter‑attacks, and his ability to use his height offensively as well as his back‑to‑back gritty duels pumped up the squad’s hunger. But honestly, the real question is whether Romelu will stick around. The transfer window is closed, and we’ve already gotten used to playing with him on the pitch. In my view, Romelu’s main assets are his physical dominance and aerial control, though, like in his debut for Bakırköyspor, he can sometimes struggle to strike the ball the way he wants. Fenerbahçe’s transfer strategy is finally making sense: they want to balance the squad with both experienced and young, talented players. With Asensio also coming in, Romelu could become a regular, but our job is to watch and analyze how much of an advantage this move gives the team.
