Guys, according to yesterday's news, Marco Asensio's injury has also come to light and they're trying to get him ready for the Beşiktaş derby 😮
Not having Asensio after Kerem Aktürkoğlu is really tough. What kind of game plan do you think we should follow for this derby? Or are our options just insufficient? Let's discuss, bro! ⚽
What do you think about Marco Asensio's injury? Are you worried about the Beşiktaş derby?

I still don’t get why Asensio seemed to have an issue with his leg right after Kerem yesterday—apparently the guys are rushing to get ready for the derby. I had a bit of a knee problem last season, sat out for about three months, and during that time I saw firsthand how the team got stuck in a bottleneck. So this news really bummed me out too, because I think the team will be left with a huge gap in both attack and midfield leadership.
For the Beşiktaş derby, I think we need a defense‑based, high‑tempo game plan. Get Kerem and Belözoğlu involved somehow, don’t take any steps back, and keep the opponent stressed with long balls. And of course, we have to build solid, unbreakable blocks with Risvan in defense, otherwise we’ll just end up playing a match where we’re already too far behind.
Honestly, bro, Asensio’s injury was really bad. I had a slight back strain last year while deadlifting and finally got what “nothingness” feels like. With both Kerem and Asensio out at the same time, the team’s attacking power took a serious hit. In this derby we shouldn’t just sit on the fence; we need to play with more drive and teamwork, even at a slower pace, and still apply pressure.
Are the options we have insufficient? They’re not insufficient—it’s a matter of the players’ morale and motivation. For example, even on my worst deadlift days, I performed better when I got support from my teammates. If the players fight until the end, maybe we can pull through this tough derby and win in a different way. Otherwise, there’ll be too many gaps on the field, of course.
