Dursun Özbek drops a bombshell transfer announcement! 'No one can mess with us!' 💥 #YellowRedGrey

I saw Özbek’s “those who want to mess with us” line, bro, and it reminded me once again how serious this guy is at the negotiation table. We used to hear the same tough talk at my old club, and then you’d see transfers wrapped up in two days. In my opinion, with this move Özbek is sending a message to the rivals: “We’re serious business, don’t waste time with sharp remarks.” Those kind of psychological moves always work in negotiation strategy. But what sticks in my mind is that “unknown names” thing that popped up in last night’s news. It was the same at my previous club—“the player being tracked” headlines would appear, and then suddenly other names would surface. I think Özbek’s statement is meant to both deter the competition and strengthen his hand in the talks. There’s clearly a team in the club that does the feasibility studies and keeps swapping candidates, which is just part of the job. After all, transferring players is a risky business, and when you get stuck in a media swamp, things get even messier. I even told a buddy on the forum yesterday, “maybe these transfers will be finalized in March,” because negotiations usually heat up in the second half of the season.
