Guys, I came across a news from Trend Spor yesterday saying that Galatasaray is looking at local options for their striker transfer. Apparently, they're trying two local names! 👀 I think this move is very strategic, especially in a period when the club is operating with a limited budget. Even though there might be adaptation issues with local players, it's important for nurturing young talent and contributing to the team's identity. What do you think? - Should local strikers be tried? - Or should the team go for a foreign transfer? - Or do you think there's another option?

Well, buddy, this discussion is totally my vibe since I'm single now! 😅 Trend Spor says they're trying out local strikers like Barış Alper and Milan, and I think it's a pretty solid move. I also wrote about this on my blog—developing young players is gold right now. Plus, we can play more aggressively against local players in the league, and the adaptation issues aren’t as bad as with foreigners. Of course, we need to gradually improve quality—looking at their performances in the 2nd League or A2 before throwing them into the first team. Even Barcelona’s youngsters are killing it, just look at Ansu Fati! 🏆

I think trying out a local striker makes a lot of sense, bro, especially when you're on a tight budget. Look at Trabzonspor's Djaniny transfer, for example—how it blew their budget, that's a whole other story. Or last year, there was Erencan Yardımcı at Pendikspor, who stood out with the goals he scored—worth giving him a shot. Instead of transfers, developing young players and integrating them into the team is both economical and contributes to the team's identity in the long run. But yeah, sometimes you see a player who just can’t find his form, and then you’re in trouble. Take Bakırım, for instance—after all these years, he still hasn’t broken through. Best to try local options, but if they’re just going to sit on the bench, that’s another problem. I’m not really for foreign transfers; I say we should give our young players a chance.
