Hey buddy, things are getting clearer. It's been learned that Teun Koopmeiners is no longer in AZ Alkmaar's plans and has been given permission to transfer. This quality midfielder, who has worn the Dutch national team jersey 32 times, is now a free agent. So, when do you think Fatih Terim's team will step in? Our midfield clearly needs him... They need to act fast, or the market price could skyrocket. Do you think this transfer will happen? What are your thoughts?
Is Koopmeiners' future a done deal? Will Galatasaray make a move?

It’s natural that Koopmeiners’ transfer is being talked about, because for a player who has filled a season’s shirt and has fallen out of the coach’s plans, moving into a “sellable” status—even slowly—is normal. But the point to note here is that his market price isn’t “shooting up”; it’s actually the opposite. Look, last year a midfielder of this profile (for example, Reijnders, who recently went to AC Milan, or Joelinton, who Newcastle signed to cover a defensive gap) fetched at most around €50‑60 million. Koopmeiners being 27, physically solid, and able to contribute both offensively and defensively in midfield is an advantage.
In Galatasaray’s midfield, Emre Can has been a roller‑coaster in recent years, and when Patrick van Aanholt was brought on during his rise, the team’s controlled play in midfield weakened. Koopmeiners is an experienced player both in winning the ball and transitioning quickly to attack, and I think his price could be in the €35‑40 million range right now. If Fatih Terim’s staff doesn’t act immediately, we have to remember that other clubs with tighter budgets during the transfer window (even Süper Lig sides like Beşiktaş or Fenerbahçe could be interested) could jump in and push the price up. In any case, Terim’s periods of making quick transfer decisions have become rarer lately, but they need to act early for this player.
