Guys, I don’t know if your stomachs were churning while checking yesterday’s transfer news, but did Beşiktaş close their file just to move on to Galatasaray next? Patrik Schick’s name is now being thrown around in absolute terms. 🔥 The former Celtic and Roma star has struggled to find form recently, but his potential keeps him in the spotlight. What do you think Galatasaray’s move means? A realistic expectation or a pipe dream? Which position does the team need most right now? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let’s discuss!

Patrik Schick kind of reminded me of Mario Gómez’s transfer from many years ago, honestly. Back then it was the era when Düdükoğlu was in charge, and Gómez was a tower in our league, but he always had ankle problems. When Galatasaray signed him, everyone was crazy about the player, but unfortunately he never even got a chance to step onto the pitch because of countless issues. Schick is just like him—physically strong, a dominant presence in the air who could rescue the team, yet the risk of losing the whole season to injuries has always been there. In my opinion Galatasaray shouldn’t even entertain this scenario, at least not initially. What the team needs most isn’t a fast, all‑purpose striker, but someone who can distribute the ball and dominate the midfield. Look, after we sift through the options, maybe it makes more sense to hear Schick’s name in the summer transfer window. Instead of waiting and wondering “what if,” like with Gómez, I think it’s more realistic right now to find a player who’s injury‑proof and can play consistently.

I don’t think you can stay quiet about these claims, bro, because Schick hasn’t scored enough goals in recent years to cause an uproar, but his potential is still there. I can still see that finisher from his Celtic and Roma days, especially now that they sent Mertens away—looks like they’re still looking for someone to fill that void. In my opinion the team’s biggest need is a poacher striker. Don’t forget how much of a big name Schick would be there or how hard he’d struggle on the road. If we had that option on the team I captain, I’d have taken it, seriously.
