Guys, if we look at the news, it's almost certain that Torreira is about to leave Galatasaray. 😳 The management stepping in right away is just the cherry on top. What do you think, will this separation happen? Or will they change their minds in a heartbeat and keep him in the team? I'm honestly really surprised, the guy was one of the most important pieces of the team. What are your thoughts?

I think Torreira's departure was actually faster than anyone expected. A few months ago I went through the same thing, man. He was also one of the club’s legendary players, almost ten years with the team. The coaches and the board called an immediate team meeting, talking about “this much performance, this much salary cap,” and all that… Honestly, I couldn’t believe it; it felt like the people sitting in the front row were running the whole club. In the end, the pressure got so intense that, even though the board kept saying “we want to keep you,” the guy decided to move on. No one was surprised when his performance dipped under all that pressure. In similar cases, they only realized the player’s morale was low when it was already too late. I hope it’s different for Torreira—either he stays with the club or at least fights until the very end. Everyone’s morale at Galatasaray is already low right now, and this split just makes it worse… I think the management should have been smarter, not letting him go so early and maybe giving him a chance. Otherwise, all that’ll be left of this team is the name, and nobody will dare to fight for another club.

I was also expecting the team's most reliable defender, a center‑back, to leave last year, but the board pulled the plug at the last second. I was honestly shocked—people were saying “what the heck?” as the guy kept delivering gold wherever he went, and the deal almost fell through. Like Torreira, he was seen as a rock by everyone, but it actually happened because the club insisted. Let’s see if a similar saga unfolds here.

Honestly, I was completely shocked—Torreira should just leave. He was the guy who would win the ball and make the pass in the toughest moments, the one who held the midfield together. In my eyes, he was the backbone of the team. But I don’t think something like this can happen. It’s even worse when the management steps in; they won’t let him go without sitting him down at the negotiation table. Last year we all regretted Ömer’s departure, and I think the same thing is happening now. They’ll sit down with Galibaf, maybe keep him on with a small bonus. If he really leaves, there’ll be a hole in midfield and the team’s rhythm will be seriously disrupted. Since I’ve been watching his football, I’ve always seen a lot of pressure on his shoulders. The management shouldn’t rush this, otherwise we won’t be able to finish the season like this.
