Sometimes referees don't give the goal, so people complain—how is the score counted anyway? So, for a goal to count, does the ball have to fully cross the line? Can you give a bit more detail, bro?
How are goals counted in ice hockey?

I was watching a match yesterday, and the commentators were about to start fighting because the refs wouldn't award the goal. The ball crossed the white line by like a tenth of a second, but the referee thought it bounced out with his boot, seriously. The refs want the ball to be “completely” over; if they say it just touched and went over, they don’t count it as a goal.
