How do you guys use in-season data? Like, do you connect a team's performance over their last 5 matches with their overall league stats to make predictions? Or do you just focus on the team's morale and the opponent's weak points? I look at general stats along with player form, but sometimes I miss details—how do you approach it?
How are seasonal data in İddaa evaluated?

I have a system that's pretty similar to yours, actually. I track both team and individual player trends throughout the season, but I look at them as part of a bigger picture rather than in isolation. For example, I don’t just reduce a player’s last five games to their win-loss record—I don’t fall for those flashy numbers. First, I look at tempo stats from each game (PPG, turnover rate, rebounds, etc.), but the most important part is who they played against. I don’t just say, “They average 100 points in their last five games,” without noting which teams they played, whether it was home or away, and so on.
When it comes to player form, I think physical and mental condition matter more than stats alone. For instance, if a center’s rebounds have dropped over the last three months but they’ve been dealing with an injury, I don’t put much weight on that data. Like you, I look at individual form, but I also use a metric I call “efficiency score when on the floor.” It’s not just about points scored—it’s also about assist-to-rebound ratios. I track this in a simple Excel pivot table; it’s not super detailed, but it works. As you’ve said, sometimes you miss key details—like if a team’s defensive leader changed in their last five games, you have to ask why. Was there a new transfer? Did the defensive system change? Without understanding those factors, raw data can be misleading.
