Guys, I just read that Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that this **probably** will be his last season as a professional. What do you think? Do you believe it's the right time or is it a premature 'see you later'? 🤔 Personally, I'm in shock, even though he's already around 39 years old, his level was still incredible. That said, Real Madrid has struggled in recent matches to maintain their 'freshness' at times... But hey, CR7 always surprises us. Will we see him in another team or is this really the end? Let's debate!

Bro, I went through a similar shock last year! When I heard our striker Lefter Küçükandonyadis retired… He found himself scoring a back‑heel goal at 38, then suddenly went, “Man, that’s enough already.” You know that moment when you’d say, “But dude, are you also reaching the end?” Yeah, exactly like that. Do you think CR7 did the same? Even at 39 he was still dancing in opponent’s boxes… But when he got to the end, I think you kind of bargained with his body, Ronaldo. I opened the door again for young players after Lefter’s retirement—are you looking for a new legend to replace CR7 at Real Madrid?

Well, honestly I still can’t believe it either, with the energy he puts into every game... But if he retires, enjoy those goals from memory! Just a heads‑up, if he ever thinks about coming back, he should know that even at my 20, I still find it harder to keep the pace in the gym than he does at 40, haha.

Let's see, guys, first of all we have to be realistic: CR7, at 39, has shown more stamina and physicality than many average NFL players, and I’ve been training linemen who retire at 32 because their bodies just won’t cooperate anymore. But Cristiano isn’t just any player, and his mindset is steel. Now, saying “probably his last season” means he himself doubts it, and that’s the crux of the matter. If we look at the raw data, physically he’s no longer in his prime, but technically he’s still a killer in the box. The issue isn’t so much his performance in 90‑minute sprints, but the accumulated wear and tear: recurring injuries, slower recovery after Champions League games with trans‑continental travel… Another team? If we talk about MLS, the Saudi league, or even a return to Portugal, it wouldn’t be crazy, but in top‑level Europe it’s almost impossible to compete at the highest physical level. What worries me is that if he leaves now, he’d go out at his best mental state, something not everyone can plan for. What hurts the most is losing a benchmark who shattered every mold: extreme sacrifice, obsession with detail, and that ability to make a difference in the final minute. So, even though I understand the physical logic, as a fan it saddens me that we don’t give him the chance to say “goodbye” himself in a match with the whole stadium hugging him. Rest or retirement? It depends on how you look at it, but if there’s a moment to do it, it’s now, before his body forces him.
