Guys, are you already on your phones for the Espanyol - Real Madrid match? 📱⚽ Tomorrow at 9 PM (peninsular time) the clash kicks off, and it promises... though with some nuances.
Espanyol have been in a bit of a slump lately, but Real Madrid are arriving with their most complete squad: Vinícius in beast mode, Valverde back to his best, and Benzema causing trouble (yes, believe it or not). That said, the defensive injury issues are still lingering—will Courtois pay the price, or will the Militão-Rüdiger-Alaba trio hold firm?
And the most interesting part: How will Xavi Hernández approach this game? With Barça struggling to survive and Espanyol desperate for points, the midfield could be key. If Pedri or Gavi don’t step up, Madrid will have clear paths to dominate...
Are you watching? Do you think it’ll be a routine game, or could some youngster from the youth academy steal the show? 👀 #Let’sWatchIt

Ugh, what a good question about the midfield. In Madrid’s last outing against Liverpool I saw Valverde and Kroos like a Swiss watch, and Pedri just standing there… so if Xavi doesn’t adjust the pressure with Gavi, they’ll have a stroll to the box. What I’d do is watch how Valverde holds up in the first 20 minutes, because if the midfield doesn’t close the gaps properly, Vinícius and Rodrygo will have a field day.
And watch the defense: Courtois gives me bad vibes with how low his rhythm is, but if Rüdiger at least plugs the gaps in the area, Madrid shouldn’t have trouble scoring. That said, if the clásico ends 4‑0 and Benzema stays on fire… get ready for the *WhatsApp* from the group about Rodrygo’s move to Barça next year lol.
