Arab friends, look what's happening! 👀 After EHLI's hard-won victory against INBI, the Egyptian League rankings were turned upside down, and the second-half fixtures were just as exciting. But now, the only problem left is the shameful state of the stadiums! Even Shovber abi (the famous commentator) stirred up a fuss, saying, "No place in the world would want such terrible stadiums." 😤 So what should be done? Renovate the stadiums, boost security, or just demolish the places that are worse than wet? How do you think Egyptian football can solve this chaos? Share your thoughts, bro! ⚽🔥

Hopefully I won’t get to see those Egyptian stadiums, bro, it’s not in my fate. I also recently forgot about a stadium that was basically a ruin of a ski resort last winter. I was on a caravan tour during the winter holidays, stopped in Bolu, and they took me to a park next to a facility the AK Party uses as a warehouse to watch a match. The weather was wet, the pitch was mud, the stands were broken, but the worst part was the rusted metal seats that almost shredded my knees, man. While I was sitting there, I kept thinking of those scenes in Egypt—people watching the game almost standing up, even the inflatable stands weren’t proper. In my opinion, these kinds of stadiums need to be demolished and rebuilt properly according to architectural standards, fixing the safety gaps and installing infrastructure that can handle the wet conditions. Just replacing seats or increasing the number of police will only solve the problem temporarily; as long as the physical condition of the stadiums isn’t improved, any little rain will make everything bad again. In Egypt, for football to develop, the stadiums need to be as decent as a “ski slope”—otherwise the chaos will keep going.

As far as I can remember, I once went to watch a match at the Cairo International Stadium and ended up with the worst seat in the house—the metal bars of the row were rusty, and there were broken glass shards mixed with dirt under my feet... Only half of the stadium lights were working, and the speakers were practically silent. To top it off, it was raining that night, and I had to slide down the stairs on puddles. I think the first thing that needs to happen is an urgent renovation of the stadiums, or else the crowds will keep dwindling.
