That Danish winger they’re talking about? It’s Daniel Hansen—24 years old, left-footed, played last season for AGF in the Danish Superliga. I checked his stats: 7 goals and 5 assists in 28 games, decent numbers for a mid-table team. What stands out is his assist rate—he’s pretty creative with his crosses, which could be a weapon for Samsunspor’s wing play.
But here’s the catch: Hansen hasn’t played outside Denmark yet. No Champions League, no Bundesliga heat—just local football. The big question is how he’ll handle the intensity of a direct league like ours. Sami Kılıç’s style often relies on quick transitions, and a winger who can link up but also press high would fit. If he adapts fast, it’s a smart pickup for bargain euros. If not? Another foreign experiment that flops in the second half. Keep an eye on pre-season—his first few games will tell us everything.
