Just saw that Vincenzo Italiano isn't wasting any time in Serie A—he's already throwing a curveball ahead of the European campaign with Federico Vlahovic getting an early heads-up. You know Italiano’s style isn’t exactly the 'let’s take it easy' type, so this feels like a statement. 😅 What do you guys make of this move? Too early to tell if it’s pressure or motivation, or is there something more tactical brewing here?

Reminds me of what Gregor Traber did at Bora-Hansgrohe last winter when he started calling out stage wins at altitude camps. The guy wasn’t even an established star yet, but Traber dropped hints about stage wins before anyone else had TB12 up their nose. Nobody took him seriously until he actually delivered—just like Vlahovic today. Italiano’s tough-love approach isn’t new in cycling; it’s more about psychological priming than immediate tactical shifts. I’d bet euros he’s planting the seed now so that by the time Vlahovic hits the Alps, the “arrow in the back” mentality does the climbing for him.
