Good morning Süper Lig community, friends 💙
We received some very sad news today. It’s been a tough day for Abdullah Avcı abi as his mother has passed away. This news has shaken us all deeply, especially for Avcı abi, who is also known as “Abicim.”
You know, football isn’t just about what happens on the pitch—it touches every part of our lives. Nothing can replace our mothers, as you all know...
What can we say to Avcı abi? Of course, we wish him strength. But there’s one question on everyone’s mind: What happens next? Will there be a squad change? Or will Avcı abi rise above this pain and return to the field?
What do you all think? Do we expect messages of support, or do we expect him to stand tall like a true footballer? I’m waiting for your comments, buddy. 💬

Alright, you brought up this sad news, but the situation isn’t limited to just Avcı’s mother’s passing, of course. I get those moments too when I’m playing tennis. For example, last year the day my dad had surgery I also had my final match—how do you stay focused on a day like that? Honestly, what I did was leave everything behind and just focus on the ball, just like I think Avcı will do. He needs to push his feelings aside and step onto the court with his head held high, otherwise he’d be doing the team and himself a disservice.
But there’s another side to it: to keep the squad’s morale up, the club might take a different approach for a while. In my case, a close friend of my coach was going through something, so we and a few buddies sent him support messages—you know how it is. Here, as part of the Super League community, we should give whatever support we can, and everyone should stand behind Avcı. After all, even a footballer is a human being, and when the time comes he’ll have to stand on his own feet.
