Looking at the penalties handed out by the TFF today, I see that there’s absolutely no flexibility when it comes to referee mistakes or unsportsmanlike behavior from teams, bro. For example, the sanction given to that team’s coach was really serious—it went beyond just criticizing the referee’s decision. The TFF needs to take a hard line in situations like this; otherwise, the injustices on the field will keep growing and will damage the game.
I’m looking at Galatasaray, and they got a pretty heavy punishment too, which shows that the seriousness of recent appeals against referees has finally caught attention. Man, if everyone acts only in their own interest, the system falls apart. The TFF making decisions like these is actually crucial for the future of football; they can’t turn a blind eye to indiscipline. Otherwise, while we’re talking about “more kings than the king” in football, I believe these penalties will help solidify the system.
