Eyüpspor's decision could gain momentum just like the stadium change in the neighborhood team I captained. When we used to play on small dirt fields and then moved to the new stadium, not only did the team's morale improve, but the number of spectators increased as well. Thanks to its location near the airport, it could even provide an advantage in away matches. If the stadium's capacity is around 15,000, it would also be a step towards supporting the team's budget and the goal of developing local players.
Stadium being close to Eyüp, meaning close to us, is awesome news! When I used to go to matches at Önder Stadium, I was almost right where the new Eyüpspor stadium was planned to be. The stadium being close to the center will, I think, increase the team's matchday attendance. Back in the day, you'd have to rush to get there and back, now you can say it's just 10 minutes from your home.
By the way, there isn't full info about the capacity yet, but Önder Stadium was packed to the rafters, so I hope the new stadium will have the same vibe. Classic terraces are a must, you can't find that atmosphere anywhere else. Eyüpspor's new home, I reckon, will be a huge plus for the team, I'm sure of it.
