I had a similar situation in Göktan until last year, bro. I’m watching sports, and whenever basketball players get transferred abroad it’s always a hot topic, you know? My teammate and I played the same position, and when he switched from basketball to soccer, everyone kept asking, “What about going abroad?”
In the end, he talked to the team’s coach and said he wanted to try his luck overseas. I think Göktan could do the same thing—rather than staying at Trabzonspor and waiting for more development, it makes more sense to take that offer and showcase himself in Europe. As long as he doesn’t just run away, it’ll still be support for Trabzon, and sometimes in football you have to take that risk, bro.
