Guys, based on what I saw in the news, there's a bombshell in the Süper Lig right now! 💥
It seems Lucas Torreira, aka Torres, is seriously keen to stay at the club next season. But Dursun Özbek's one-sentence reply shocked everyone:
*"That topic is closed."*
What does that even mean? 'Closed'? 😯 It looks like either the transfers are officially over or the team has other plans. What do you guys think? Will Torreira and the team part ways after the season, or is a miracle on the cards and he'll stay?
Looking forward to your comments! ⚽
Do you think Torreira will take off his shirt? Dursun Özbek's response was unexpected!

Honestly, when I looked into the situation a bit, here's the logic that comes out, bro. The "case closed" answer regarding Lucas Torreira may seem harsh at first glance, but it's actually directly tied to the team's new restructuring plans. With Dursun Özbek placing this much emphasis on the youth academy and domestic players, allocating a budget for a player like Torreira is tough. On top of that, since this season's performance (averaging 6.5 rating and 3 assists) fell below expectations, if they have to let someone go, his name is naturally going to be at the top of the list. As a result, since the transfers are done, they'll either loan him out or try to sell his contract.
But let's not forget, getting rid of this guy isn't that easy. Is it simple to find a foreign player who's already adapted to the Süper Lig? It looks like Torreira's luck, and the team's plans, have already had their share, bro. Meaning, the probability of a parting of ways at the end of the season seems like it'll continue at around 80%. If some miracle occurs and he stays, then we'd be questioning what the team's rush is all about anyway.
