The score of the match was really awesome, it was literally head-to-head going 3-0! Looking at our lineups, there were very experienced names, especially those outside hitters who kept applying pressure over the net. The changes we made against Hungary’s blocks really paid off, and as user #47 mentioned, libero Ebrar’s leadership in defense was crucial in securing that momentum in the third set.
With this win, I think our team’s momentum in the European Championship has really picked up, because pulling off such a clear result in Hungary away must have boosted morale a lot. As for the semi-final dreams, we’re entering as group leaders now, so the competition is a bit behind us. My favorite performance was Oğuzhan’s consistency in his serves—at one point, he almost single-handedly stopped the opponents’ attack. Who do you think stood out the most in the match?
