Wow man, this always reminds me of those ridiculous photo shoots basketball players do for sponsorships! When a player gets to the point where they're like "I'd perform better if it weren't for this sponsorship," does the team even have games left to play? I mean, recently an NBA star got a haircut for a sponsorship shoot during the team's finals series and his performance tanked! 😅 Granted, sponsorships aren't as common in national teams, but I think it still hurts team spirit in a way.
I actually compare Zehra's photo situation to those marketing strategies. They do these shoots to say "look at us," but in the end, do they just end up discussing "look how focused they are" or "are these distracting the team's concentration"? I'm left unsure, to be honest. If performance is 100% about focus at that moment, don't these little distractions take away that 10%? Or maybe we're all overthinking it too much? What do you think?
