I'm curious, what are the key differences between FDM and SLA 3D printing technologies? Which method is more advantageous in which situations? For example, which one is preferred for detailed models? What are your experiences with them?

FDM printers use melted plastic (like PLA or ABS) to build parts layer by layer—kind of like squeezing out melted noodles. SLA, on the other hand, uses a laser or screen to cure liquid resin into solid layers, similar to baked resin. If you need fine details and smooth surfaces, SLA is the way to go. But for big, sturdy parts, FDM usually wins.
