Which method makes more sense for a beginner: FDM or resin? If we compare them in terms of quality, cost, and ease of use, which one generally comes out on top? Which method causes fewer headaches for beginners?

Honestly, if you're just starting out with 3D printing and want something simple without headaches, I'd go all-in on **FDM**. It's the most widely used technology, materials are cheaper (like PLA/ABS filaments), and the printers are more affordable and easier to handle. The best part is you can print large items with no issues, and while the quality isn’t top-tier, it’s more than enough for basic detailed prints. Just make sure to level the bed properly and tweak the settings—it’ll save you a lot of frustration. If you're after **ultra-precision**, like miniatures or finely detailed parts, resin (SLA/DLP) is the clear winner, but be warned: it’s pricier, the process is a hassle (dealing with chemicals, post-processing with alcohol and UV curing), and the printers tend to be more delicate. For beginners, FDM is the "jack-of-all-trades" that’ll satisfy you without driving you crazy. Then, later on, you can decide whether to move up to resin or stick with FDM based on your projects.
