Smart bands are personally great for tracking my sleep, even though I realize it's still approximate (especially the cycles). For home workouts, they're awesome for timing push-ups or squats, but I don't really use advanced metrics like VO2 max. I mainly look at effort rate and active time!
How much do users complain about the sleep tracking data from smartbands? I just wonder: if such a band tells me at night that I’ve "optimized my sleep" while in reality I was awake the whole night due to a weird pain in my arm, how long does it take before that faulty detection is no longer trusted? Unless, of course, you're using a model that continuously learns from your actual sleep patterns—that might work—but have you ever experienced how reliable that is during a week with fluctuating sleep phases?
