Daily activity tracking devices now also provide data like heart rate, sleep analysis, and stress measurement. So, how reliable is this data? Can it replace a doctor's advice? For example, they can detect irregular heart rhythms early, but the accuracy rate isn't 100%. How much should we trust these devices in your opinion? If not from your own experience, what's your general take on this?

I've tried smart bands for heart rate and sleep tracking, and overall I've gotten good results, especially when it comes to steps and calorie burn, which I find quite reliable. However, I've noticed that they fall short when it comes to measurements that require medical-grade precision, like ECG or blood oxygen—things like stress levels or sleep stages can sometimes be exaggerated or underreported. In situations where accuracy is crucial, like detecting arrhythmias, it's absolutely necessary to consult a doctor. I use these devices as an "early warning" system; I log my data and show it to my doctor. I never use them to make a diagnosis on my own—instead, I see them as a supportive tool for your data, especially if you're using them for fitness purposes.

First off, you gotta check the calibration of the sensors on your devices; some show a 10-15% difference in heart rate readings compared to chest straps, so it's crucial to cross-check measurements with a doctor to confirm accuracy.
