I'm curious, when setting up a smart home system, what infrastructure should I focus on first? Is Wi-Fi better, or should I prefer Ethernet cables? Also, which protocols (Zigbee, Thread, etc.) work more stably when choosing equipment? What methods should I follow for a budget-friendly yet reliable system? Thanks!
What should we pay attention to when setting up a smart home?

😂 Man, when it comes to smart homes, I can turn my bedside lamp on and off wirelessly but forget about the kitchen lights 😅 I love Wi-Fi for its wireless convenience, but after the last voltage surge, my whole system screamed "Network connection failed" 😭 Ethernet’s stability is unmatched, bro. As for the budget, Zigbee+Matter combo is our most stable friend, and don’t forget Thread either!
