Smart lighting has varying entry barriers, with each brand offering its own set of features like adjustable color temperature, remote control, and scene synchronization. However, real-world use often reveals some pitfalls: unstable connections, sluggish app responses, and firmware updates that go silent for half a year. When selecting or using these products, what aspects do people typically prioritize? Is it compatibility, stability, or after-sales support? Or are there other key factors to consider?
What's your approach to choosing/using smart lights? Any experienced users willing to share tips?

I got into smart lights by being overwhelmed by all the marketing about "supporting xxx features," only to realize later that when choosing one, you first need to check if the documentation is in Chinese and whether it has local direct connection (the last thing you want is WiFi dropping). Otherwise, you’ll end up regretting it after installation.
