Then, one day, I got a new Thread-enabled hub, and all the lights synchronized seamlessly within the same mesh network—packet loss dropped almost to zero, and energy consumption decreased by about 15%. Since Matter is still a new standard, I’d recommend waiting a bit if you want full compatibility with your existing devices. But in the long run, it promises interoperability and cloud independence.
