My friend, I also started with scheduling, thinking "at least I won't forget," but later realized life isn't that simple. For example, last night I forgot to turn off the lights before going to bed, and thankfully I opened them in the morning using the app. Scheduling is user-friendly, sure, but is every day the same routine? Adjusting based on immediate needs with remote control is much more flexible. For me, it turned out to be "the better option."
Wired systems don't even call me anymore; wireless ones are everywhere and save me from the hassle of installation. Even though I sometimes struggle with connection stability with mesh networks, I manage with cheap models from Philio or Sonoff. Ever since I said wireless is the future, I haven't regretted it at all.
