Smart plugs also have scheduling features, so you can automate turning devices on or off when electricity rates are cheaper, or when planning gaming sessions. They’re handy for other devices in your kid’s room too, like nightlights or heaters that you can program. While it might not make a huge dent in your electric bill, reducing unnecessary power usage and being able to turn off the plug remotely adds extra security and convenience. So really, it’s not just a luxury—it’s smart usage.
