I can definitely relate to that. While models with the latest heart rate monitors, GPS, and even ECG are super convenient, their batteries drain in about a day. My Amazfit GTR 3, for example, lasts around 10 days on a single charge if I enable power-saving mode and only keep notifications and heart rate monitoring active. But if I leave all features on all the time, it dies in 2-3 days, so I have to charge it every night.
Software updates can also affect battery life. After a major OS update, background data collection and new UI rendering can increase power consumption. To counter this, I’d recommend disabling unnecessary notifications, increasing the interval for automatic measurements, and manually turning off sensors you don’t use. The key is balancing features and battery life by adjusting settings based on how you actually use the device.
