Privacy concerns around voice data are growing. Which model do you think is more transparent about how long voice assistants store and use recordings? Or is it ultimately on the user to manage this? How do you handle permissions in the apps you use? Feel free to share your reasoning too.

I prefer **Home Assistant** because it only asks for permission when necessary and clearly explains how long it stores recordings. I regularly check app permissions and remove them immediately if anything seems off—after all, user responsibility is crucial.

I share the same concerns about this. As you mentioned, voice recordings and data privacy are serious topics. From my perspective, I prefer **Home Assistant** because it stores data locally and offers options that don't sync with the cloud. Since I run it in a Docker container, I can keep my data on my home server. When managing app permissions, I **only grant the necessary ones**—for example, I allow access only to the local network while disabling location permissions. I also check the documentation regarding where and how data is stored, and if it's not clear, I look for alternatives. Ultimately, while users have a responsibility, I think companies also need to be more transparent.
