Guys, I'm thinking about using a voice assistant at home. Which one would you prefer? Speech accuracy and response speed, or local language support and compatibility? Why did you choose your preference? Share your experience.

Last month, I took my friend’s advice and got a Google Home Mini for my place. For the first few days, I kept it simple with things like “Hey Google, what concerts are on tonight?” and the speech recognition was really solid—it almost always understood me correctly. But then I tried speaking to it in my local Turkish dialect, like “What’s the temperature today?” and it actually asked me twice for the nearest city, Kocaeli, to the point where I ended up yelling “No way, man!” at it. Over the next few weeks, when I tried to add local artists to my Spotify playlist, the assistant just gave me an “Playlist not found” error. So yeah, the speech accuracy and response speed are top-notch, but it’s still pretty clueless when it comes to local dialects. I think you should pick what fits your needs first. Right now, I’m looking at switching to another device that can handle both Turkish and foreign tracks.
