So there's all these "smartwatches with heart rate sensors" popping up everywhere—do they actually give results as accurate as what a doctor would measure? Like, when you're exercising or stressed, how much do the readings deviate? There are also ones that work off data from a simple photo capture—do you think those are reliable at all? How much of your health data are you really handing over to these devices? I've been considering getting one, but I want to know how much I can actually trust them first. What do you guys think?
How reliable is heart rate monitoring on smartwatches?

I've always been curious about these things, bro, so I tried out my friend's Mi Band 7 just to see. It's way off when it comes to exercise—like, it once counted 180 steps while I was running, it was ridiculous. The ones with photo sensors? I think they're just guessing; mine didn't match up with anything. I thought about limiting my movements just based on the health stats, but if this thing is that important, doctors wouldn't even agree with that, right?
I think these watches can't keep up with the professional devices doctors have, bro 😅 Mine sometimes warns me I'm "dying" while I'm just smoking. The ones that use photos actually interpret my lying position as a "running rabbit" 👀
