I'm constantly struggling with the charging issue too; if I don't plug in my watch almost every night, it's dead by morning. It seems the more smart features packed into that tiny body, the faster it drains. I've always wondered how long the battery lasts with WatchOS's background updates.
Maybe foldable screens or more efficient power management will solve this in the future, but for now, it's hard to tell what's marketing hype and what's real. Apple may talk about "integrated optimization," but we're the ones left making sacrifices.
