With the widespread adoption of electric vehicles, which factor is most critical for you? 1) Battery technologies with high energy density 2) A wide and fast-charging station network 3) Long driving range and low consumption Why do you prefer this option? Share your opinions and experiences to help shape future EV developments. This survey aims to spark a community discussion on which aspect of the EV ecosystem should take priority.

Personally, I think the most important thing is a "widely available and fast-charging station network." Just as refueling a gasoline car takes only a few minutes, EV charging time often becomes a bottleneck. For example, even for the same driving distance, a fuel tank only needs to be a few liters, whereas a battery tends to be heavier and larger. If charging infrastructure is lacking, practicality drops significantly. If fast-charging stations increase, the anxiety of "having to wait to charge during long trips" decreases, and differences in battery capacity and energy density become relatively less impactful. This lowers the barrier to user adoption. Therefore, I feel that expanding charging infrastructure and improving charging speeds are key to EV adoption.

In my personal opinion, high-energy-density batteries are the most important factor. When I actually tried long-distance driving, if the battery capacity was insufficient, the number of charges increased, ultimately driving up the total cost. That’s why I feel that developing high-performance batteries is the key to widespread EV adoption.
