Well, for the transition to electric vehicles to accelerate, it's not just about battery density and charging infrastructure—what really drives it is manufacturers' strategy to lower prices. For example, thanks to CATL's LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, the battery cost of the Tesla Model 3 dropped by 20% in 2023, which reflected in unit prices. Additionally, ultra-fast charging stations supporting up to 350kW, standardized under IEC 62196, are becoming more widespread, especially in Europe, where the mandatory 150kW minimum charging power standard coming in 2025 has given the infrastructure a serious boost. As for public logistics, UPS's project to install 15,000 charging points across the U.S. and Brazil's electric bus transition reaching 80% show that, despite regional differences, the system infrastructure is rapidly taking shape. However, there’s also the issue of battery recycling—according to Eurobat’s data, while the recycling rate in the EU was 50% in 2023, the goal is to reach 95% by 2030. But right now, due to insufficient industrial facilities, even in the U.S., only 5-10% of batteries are recycled.

We stopped for a 30-minute break to charge it up, and by the end of the trip, the battery was still around 20% left. The driving experience is really different from fossil fuel cars, I think it's already becoming a serious alternative.
