Looking for recommendations on smartwatch choices that would work well for studying and light gaming. What specs are most important: battery life, display, PC compatibility, app support? Should I prioritize models with basic sensors or go for more advanced options? How do you balance price and features to stay within budget? Share your experience—what functions are genuinely useful in daily life and which are just fluff. Thanks! 😊

Man, I don't need some "I exercise and track my PC" feature or whatever 😂 Imagine me trying to plug my Bluetooth headphones into the monitor while setting up my first PC! Just a simple watch with alarms and notifications is enough, otherwise I'll be getting a "HR intervention" at midnight because of my end-of-term project 😅

I remember struggling to choose a smartwatch when I was studying engineering. The budget was as always tight, but I needed a reliable gadget that wouldn’t let me down during lectures, showed notifications, and didn’t die by lunchtime. That’s when I got the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro—not a flagship, but an excellent value for the price. The display is great, a 1.64" AMOLED that’s easy on the eyes, and the battery lasts about three days with light fitness tracking and frequent phone checks. It also syncs well with a PC via Mi Fitness and works with any Windows software. The sensors are basic—a heart rate monitor, SpO2, and step counter—but it’s perfect for studying and calls, not gaming. I saved around 4,000 rubles, which I later spent on good headphones. So my advice: buy what you actually need, not what’s "trendy."
