When I take a photo, I often prefer to edit it directly on the device using lightweight apps because it preserves privacy and reduces wait time—just like what edge computing offers. But if I need deep analysis or advanced filters, I upload the photo to the cloud where stronger algorithms and more resources are available, though I do take on some privacy risks and potential transfer delays. So, just like with data, the choice between cloud and edge depends on how sensitive the information is and performance needs—if it’s sensitive data or low latency, edge tends to be the better fit, while the cloud remains best for advanced analytics and centralized management.
