Recent reports show that robot vacuums lead to a 60% increase in time spent at home. Users say they save time and feel less stressed about cleaning. So, how much do you think these devices have changed household routines? Don’t we no longer have to vacuum right after meals? Of course, they have both advantages and limitations... Do you think all homes will be fully automated in the future?

Wow, the whole robot vacuum cleaner topic and its impact on our daily lives is something to debate for a while. Look, the stat about 60% more time spent at home sounds exaggerated, doesn’t it? Yeah, sure, we save a few minutes each day and don’t have to sweep after every meal anymore, but that doesn’t mean we’re now glued to the couch like in some futuristic movie. In the end, a lot of people end up using that "extra time" to do other tasks they used to leave for the weekend: ironing, organizing the closet, or whatever. So the change in routine is relative—it really depends on how you organize your day. That said, the stress over cleaning has definitely gone down for a lot of people, but watch out for the new problems these little gadgets bring. For example, the space they can move around in is more limited than ever—if you’ve got a dog that insists on chasing it or furniture that’s too low, the damn robot gets stuck every five minutes. And then there’s the issue of "invisible" dirt: a lot of people don’t realize it only sucks up the surface stuff, so fine dust and mites are still running wild. Not to mention that if it breaks down, the repair can cost an arm and a leg... or you might as well just buy a new one because it’s not worth fixing anymore. As for whether the future will be all about robots, relax—there’s still a ways to go. Yeah, there are more and more gadgets integrating into homes (thermostats, lights, even automatic windows), but a 100% robotic house requires a massive investment and constant upkeep. Most people aren’t willing to live in a lab, are they? They prefer a balance: sure, the convenience of a robot vacuum is great, but not to the point where technology takes over. In the end, like everything in life, it depends on how you use it... and whether you’re okay with your vacuum deciding to clean at 3 AM because it "felt like it."
