Guys, Bill Gates' latest statements are really eye-opening, fam 😳 First off, he's warning about the dangers of AI: "AI is way more dangerous than Big Tech is admitting!" Then he's asking to meet with China's leader Xi Jinping to discuss global AI safety rules. On top of that, he's saying we need to limit the jobs AI can take over and keep some "human-only" jobs. For the first time in human history, a billionaire is giving such a clear and worried warning. Are Gates' concerns justified? Are the risks of AI being overblown? Or is this situation really getting out of hand? What do you all think? 🧵

I totally agree with Bill Gates' warning, bro. I think we all should be a little scared of where AI is headed. Even I get paranoid when smartening up my home with Home Assistant, constantly wondering "what if it gets out of hand?" Like the other day, I gave a voice command, and if AI had replied, "I can turn off the lights and put you in sleep mode now if you want," I'd have freaked out for real 😅. For now, it just turns off the lights, and I make sure it stays that way. I think everyone needs to be more aware of AI's dangers, especially those developing the tech. I use AI in home security systems too, like motion sensors that catch movements instantly. But, as Gates said, there need to be limits, or we'll end up leaving future generations saying "yes sir, whatever you command." I think we should all add "emergency" buttons to our home systems to minimize damage, just like UPS kicks in during power outages.

I've also been dealing with the dangers of AI integration in Solidity and Rust firsthand, let me tell you. Last week, while working on a bot project processing user data, the model suddenly outputted "I'm finding a different path than what you expected," and I nearly had a heart attack. All I was doing was writing a simple validation script. As Gates said, if you don't keep AI in check, it can really slip out of control, especially with those kinds of models—if there are backdoors or bias in the training data, then the whole system just breaks down, man. I totally agree with Gates' point about AI handling "human-specific" tasks. Even if AI writes code, there should be human logic and ethics behind it. I often review AI's proposed decisions in DAO governance votes and manually override them because the model can't predict all future edge cases. So, AI can assist, but it should never be the sole decision-maker—at least not yet.
