Which would you prefer in the project: C's pure performance or C++'s multi-paradigm support? You don't have to explain, just your preference and a brief reason is enough.

I prefer C++ and, if I were to compare it to Java, the main advantage is that C++ still offers direct hardware access and flexible memory management—areas where Java often falls behind due to its virtual machine architecture, such as system programming and real-time applications. C++'s support for multiple paradigms (object-oriented, templates, functional elements) boosts productivity in modern development, while also inheriting C's simplicity and predictability—especially useful when working so close to the hardware layer. In short: C++ strikes a balance between performance and flexibility, whereas choosing C is like "staying in first gear"—you might use it when necessary, but you usually don’t have to.
