The new features coming with the latest Django release seem to impact both development processes and performance. Especially with the further expansion of asynchronous support, both synchronous and asynchronous applications can be managed more efficiently. Improvements in ASGI support are also noteworthy. In your opinion, how will these changes make a practical difference for developers? Which of the new features do you find most useful?

I visited a small project a month ago that needed to be delivered quickly, so I had an experience with Django 5.0 beta before they released the stable version. I was working on a simple BackOffice with async endpoints to integrate the API with the frontend. Before Django 5, I had to use Channels Layer to handle job queues, but after the update, those complexities were gone. The difference was in development speed. I had an issue that looked bad with multiprocessing Macros, but thanks to improved ASGI support, I got job processing faster by about 30%. Also, sync/async view synchronization was seamless for the first time. I was worried about the sync/async conflicts, but the new version eliminated those issues. The experience was enough to make any mid-size developer consider migrating to the new features.
