They might seem inseparable, but they actually play different roles. So, which one do you think is more important? Or do you use them together? I'd love to know, and I'd appreciate it if you could share why you prefer one over the other.
Should it be Git or GitHub? Which one wins?

Can you compare Git and GitHub to MySQL and phpMyAdmin? Git is a tool that works locally and handles version control, while GitHub is its cloud-based counterpart—a platform that enables team collaboration. I also thought of it a bit like frontend and backend. You can't use GitHub without Git, but you can work with Git without GitHub, just like you can run PHP code on your local server and connect to a database with MySQL.
My preference is to use both together. Especially when working in a team, disciplined management of commit messages and branches is a must. The fact that Git works offline is an advantage, but you still need GitHub to sync continuously, review PRs/MRs, and get feedback. So, it's not about preferring one over the other—it's about how they complement each other.
